Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is made up of caring, concerned adults from the community. Our board provides direction, oversight, and vision for the Executive Director. The team meets monthly for prayer, ministry updates, and strategic planning.

Meet our Board

  • Austin Dvirnak

I grew up on a ranch on the Killdeer Mountains. I recently graduated in May 2016 from Dickinson State University with a B.S. in Composite Science Education.  I am currently in my second year of teaching at Hope Christian Academy and I am really loving it!
I consider myself to be a fairly active person.  When I have the time, I like to run, play tennis or racquetball, Frisbee golf, and target-shooting.  I also really enjoy getting together with friends to play a myriad of board/card games.

I have been happily married for over 5 years to my wife Natalie.  Natalie works as an R.N. at CHI St. Alexius Hospital here in Dickinson.  We have 2 girls: Olivia who is 3 years old and Elaina who is over a year now.  Both girls are quite the chatterboxes and are always on the move.

I currently serve on the Dickinson Youth for Christ board as the secretary.

  • Brian Davidson

Pastor Brian Davidson comes originally from a small town in Northeast South Dakota. He came to a saving faith in Christ through the ministry of the Navigators while he served in the Navy at NAS Whiting Field in Florida. After attending the College of Charleston, he graduated from seminary in Minneapolis and has served churches in Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Texas, and Nebraska as well as managing a Christian radio station in Alaska. He presently serves as pastor of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Dickinson. Pastor Davidson serves as Secretary to the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations as well as serving on the board of Lutheran Mission Societies – Alaska Mission, Bay Broadcasting Board of Directors, and Dickinson Churches United for the Homeless. While serving as principal of a Christian school in Amery, Wisconsin he saw the tremendous need for youth work with churched and unchurched young people. His desire is that the Dickinson YFC chapter be a resource for all the area churches and that every young person have the opportunity to meet Jesus through their ministry.

  • Jason Robbins

Jason Robbins was born and raised in central Wisconsin I learned to appreciate God’s creation through activities like hunting, fishing, canoeing and camping. His design of our world is amazing! As a family, we enjoy these activities together. My wife and I grew up attending the same Baptist church in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. We went through the Awana program together as grade-schoolers, and attended the same youth group as teens. We were married at that church in 1996, and have enjoyed the journey that brought us here to Dickinson in 2008. I attended Dickinson State University from 2008 until my graduation in 2012. Currently I am teaching mathematics at Richardton Taylor High School where our daughters Adeline and Genavive are students. Our son Darren is attending Dickinson High School, and my wife Ann works for the South Heart school district. Being in the schools system now, we get a chance to interact with some truly amazing students. Getting the opportunity to hear their stories is awesome, and sometimes heartbreaking. We see the need for an organization like Youth for Christ on a daily basis, and I am honored to be working with such a great group.
